Skin issues are a common occurrence among people of all ages, but unfortunately, their treatment can be quite problematic. There are over 3,000 different skin issues among which the most common ones are: warts, age spots, blackheads, moles, and skin tags.

You should always try to pay attention to your skin and look for any potential changes in color, texture, and smell. Even though medicinal products are said to provide amazing results, they are still an aggressive form of treatment which acts on the skin harshly.

The best way to avoid exposure to chemicals is to use natural recipes which are as effective as pharmaceuticals but are certainly much safer to use.

Here, we’ve prepared several remedies for you which are both effective and affordable:

  1. WARTS

Warts mostly occur because of the human papillomavirus, known as HPV. The treatment of warts mostly includes salicylic acid, freezing, and duct tape, but still, there are other ways to get rid of them.

Bananas: Rubbing a banana peel over a wart every night is one if the best ways to get a wart-free skin. Repeat this process until the wart disappears. It eventually takes about two weeks.

Pure Raw Honey: Rub raw honey onto the wart and then wrap the affected area with a bandage. Raw honey also prevents them from reoccurring.

Apple Cider Vinegar:  Soak a cotton ball into apple cider vinegar and secure the area with bandage. Let it stay like that overnight and rinse it off in the morning. Repeat this process every night until the wart disappears.

Garlic: You are allowed to use both raw and juiced garlic for this purpose. Rub it onto the wart and wrap the area. Repeat this procedure two times a day during two weeks.

  1. DARK SPOTS

Dark spots are usually associated with age and they mostly appear on the face or the limbs. The real cause is still unknown, but it is believed that sun exposure and liver issues are the main ones to blame for their occurrence.

Lemon: Soak a cotton ball in some lemon juice and rub it onto the dark spots twice a day.  Lemon eliminates dark spots because it possesses skin – lightening properties.

Aloe Vera:  Apply some aloe vera onto the dark spot and leave it on for about half an hour. Instead of buying aloe vera gel, you can grow the plant at home and draw the gel from its leaves.

Onion:  Onions possess numerous health uses, including removal of dark spots. You just have to juice an onion and apply it onto the affected area. Let it work for about 15 minutes before you rinse it off.

Horseradish: In order to get the optimal results, combine horseradish and apple cider vinegar and apply the solution onto the affected area once a day. The dark spots will disappear in no time!

Vitamin C Serums:  Homemade vitamin C serums can do wonders when it comes to removal of dark spots. Apply it onto the dark spots and the results will be visible within a short period of time.

  1. CLEANSING CLOGGED PORES

Pores get clogged when the skin comes into contact with dirt, which inhibits the skin`s ability to breathe. Here are some instructions that can help you prevent inflammation and get a glowing skin:

Sugar Scrub:  Mix some sugar and lemon juice to create a paste. Rub it onto the skin with a cotton ball, using circular motions. Rinse with warm water.

Steaming: One of the best ways to get a clean and glowing skin is using water steam.  Put your face over a container with boiling water. Then, cover your head with a towel, and steam for about 15 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water when you’re finished and apply some vinegar to remove any extra dirt.

  1. MOLES

Moles are usually considered to be harmless, but if they start changing their color or shape, they may even indicate cancer. Crushed garlic applied topically can help you remove them. You just have to let it work for several hours. Applying apple cider vinegar is another way to get rid of moles naturally.

Garlic:  Clear the skin that surrounds the mole with petroleum jelly or beeswax, if you want to use a more natural alternative. Apply some garlic onto the mole and cover it using a bandage. Repeat the procedure until the mole disappears.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Soak a cotton ball in ACV and apply it onto the affected area. Put a bandage over it and let it work for 8 hours.

Castor Oil and Baking Soda: Mix some castor oil with baking soda to create a paste. Apply this onto the mole. Then, put bandage over it, and let it work overnight. Rinse it well in the morning. Repeat this process every night until the mole disappears.

  1. SKIN TAGS

Skin tags can be mostly seen on the eyelids, neck, upper chest, and underarms. They are usually caused by skin rubbing. The most common treatment includes freezing, tying off, or cutting off. Other alternatives include:

Apple Cider Vinegar:  Soak a cotton ball in ACV and squeeze it to remove the excess of liquid. Apply this onto the affected area and let it work for a while.

Castor Oil and Baking Soda: Mix both of these ingredients to create a paste which you’ll apply directly onto the skin tag.  Bandage the area and repeat the procedure 2-3 times a day.

Tea Tree Oil: Soak a cotton ball in some water and then add several drops of tea tree oil onto it. Press this onto the affected area and secure it with a bandage. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times on a daily basis during one month.
